Bioquell's Committed Technology service offers fast, flexible and cost effective as needed bio-decontamination. The service has been designed specifically for hospitals who recognize the benefits of using Bioquell's hydrogen peroxide vapor (HPV) technology but do not require ongoing, preventative proactive service and want to reduce the cost of emergency call outs.

Bioquell offers a range of room bio-decontamination services - Emergency Outbreak, Scheduled, Committed Technology and Proactive - each tailored to a hospital's specific needs. The Committed Technology service is a flexible, rapid response option for hospitals wanting a cost effective solution to less frequent healthcare associated infection (HAI) outbreak issues.

The service itself involves the pre-deployment of Bioquell equipment to a hospital where it is then stored until there is a bio-decontamination requirement. Technicians can then be called out on an as needed basis to operate the equipment and rapidly carry out the required decontamination.

Can't we achieve the same result by cleaning?

Cleaning is an essential part of infection control, which can be greatly improved and enhanced by the Bioquell system. Taking C. difficile as an example, in one study, 25% of surfaces were found to be contaminated after bleach cleaning1.

Bioquell HPV technology eliminates surface environmental contamination resulting in reduced HAI risk for subsequent room occupants.
